WHO IS ACTUALIZE?

David Schunemann, also known as Actualize, is a seasoned VJ hailing from Denver, CO and is renowned for his captivating live visuals, custom animations, and masterful projection mapping. His distinctive live visual style revolves around the manual triggering of custom effects, skillfully executed using a midi controller - as well as careful planning in advance to ensure there is a cohesive visual theme which ties the set together and meshes with the music being played.

 

Notably versatile, Actualize is adept at curating content for a diverse range of acts within the electronic music scene. He has a proven track record of creating visually stunning projection mapping displays at events such as Electric Forest, Envision, and Infrasound – and has worked with artists like CloZee, LSDream, Of the Trees, Manic Focus, Eazybaked, Truth, A Hundred Drums, and many more building and performing visual sets all around the country.

Actualize also leads larger content projects wherehe will bring on collaborators like Glass Crane and Arkitekt to aid in creating custom visual packages. Together they form CONFLUX Creative, an emerging content creation studio. More on that to come in 2024...
